How We Built ManiFlow

The client approached us with an innovative idea - to combine the power of books and artificial intelligence to enable users to not only quickly understand key ideas from books, but also to apply them in everyday life. The goal was to build a digital personal development companion that generates book summaries, creates personalized habit plans, and allows the user to have a conversation with an AI assistant about the book's content. Our task at No Code Digital was to translate this idea into a functional and intuitive application using Bubble.io and OpenAI technology.

Project Phases

1. UX and Functionality Structure

In the first phase, we worked on designing the user flow and the structure of key functionalities:

• We defined two main user flows: reading summaries and creating plans

• A minimal, focused UI has been designed with the goal that the user does not waste time on redundant information

• We set up a data structure that links books, user responses, goals, and recommended habits

2. AI Integration and Personalization

In this phase, we focused on the integration of AI and the development of smart mechanisms that provide added value:

OpenAI has been used to generate clear and useful book summaries, with support for multiple genres (productivity, psychology, business, etc.)

Based on the user's answers about habits, challenges and goals, the app generates personalized plans to improve habits

An AI chatbot was developed that can discuss the content of the book, give advice and answer additional questions from users

All answers and plans are saved so the user can track their progress over time

3. Testing and UX Fine Tuning

The final phase involved testing the application with the target group of users:

• Users tested the app on specific books and provided feedback on the accuracy and usefulness of the summaries

• Based on their feedback, the tone and style of AI responses have been improved, as has the flexibility in creating plans

• Microinteractions and UX details have been introduced to facilitate the daily use of the application
